After 20 years of holidaying in the Algarve, Rupert and Andrew found a restored 200-year-old former girl’s school full of traditional character to call home.
Casa Rosada is situated at the easternmost point of the Algarve, 5 minutes from the border with Spain. The historic town of Castro Marim with its typical Algarvian houses sprawls between two hills. On one hill stands a medieval castle and on the other a recently restored fort. The house nestles under the ramparts of the medieval castle, and has a sumptuous garden with terraces where breakfast is served, and where guests can relax in peaceful surroundings.
Sian & I had the most wonderful relaxing stay and can thoroughly recommend this as a calm peaceful retreat in the heart of the Algarve,
