Terry and Sian had a winter wonderland wedding at Oakley Hall. Hidden amongst the rolling countryside of North Hampshire, Oakley Hall offered a spectacular backdrop to the wedding day. Oakley Hall is an elegant 18th century Georgian manor house set in over 315 acres of gardens and countryside near Basingstoke and Winchester. It has a distinguished past with links to Jane Austen and is thought that her novel, Mansfield Park, is based on Oakley Hall. Blessed with a crisp winter frost and clear skies, the photography was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I hope you enjoy looking through their wedding photos.
And they are married! Bring out the cameras..
Look at the gorgeous crisp wintery light.
I love the winter sunlight diffused by the tall pine trees.
Sian's gorgeous dress was designed and made by her amazingly talented mother.
The winter wonderland December theme at Oakley Hall made for an impressive wedding breakfast setting. It reminded me of the light when I photographed a wedding in the Ice Hotel, Finland.
Simply stunning handcrafted details everywhere!
This beautiful cake was made by a friend. Wow!
A super glitter confetti canon added a special touch to the first dance thanks to DJ Elevation.
And a quick photo of the impressive Oakley Hall Hotel before I packed up my equipment and said good bye to the happy couple.
